Behind the Scenes at Ardross Farm: Follow the Journey of Your Food
Ever wondered what really happens behind the scenes on a working farm?
Join sisters Claire and Nikki for an exclusive behind the scenes tour of Ardross Farm and discover how the food on your plate begins its journey. Limited to just 20 guests, this relaxed walking tour offers a unique opportunity to explore areas of our family farm that are normally closed to the public.
Starting at the farm shop, we’ll head out into the fields to meet our herd of 100% grass-fed cattle, visit our vegetable fields and polytunnels, and take you inside our commercial kitchen where our team transforms home-grown produce into soups, pies, ready meals and much more.
Along the way, you’ll hear the story of Ardross Farm, learn why we’re passionate about sustainable farming, discover how we’re improving biodiversity and soil health, and find out how we grow our own cereals before turning them into flour for products sold in the farm shop. If harvest is underway, you may even see the combines working in the fields.
Whether you’re a foodie, interested in farming, passionate about sustainability or simply curious about where your food comes from, this tour offers a fascinating insight into life on a modern family farm. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout.
The experience finishes back at the farm shop with a selection of samples made using our own home-grown produce—a chance to relax, chat and enjoy the fruits of the farm.
