The seasons are changing and the temperature is dropping, however that doesn’t mean the food we cook is less inspiring. On Saturday 1st November, 10am – 4pm join us for our Winter Food Fair and be inspired to make the most of the dark nights and colder days.
Our Winter Food Fair is a true celebration of seasonal food and our fantastic local suppliers. We have invited a dozen producers to come along for a sampling day. A chance for you to learn more about the produce we sell and the people that grow, bake, butcher and cook it. We have a wonderful selection including:
Nakey Bakey with her fantastic granola
Aitken wines with some festive wine recommendations
The Pasta Tree with their handmade pasta – we can’t wait to try the pumpkin one
Fido Dog Treats – these are incredibly popular
Brickhouse Venison – a truly local product from surrounding estates
Pittenweem preserves – from Christmas Chutney to Raspberry jam
Gin Bothy – wonderful gins from the Angus glens
Summer House Drinks – delicious soft drinks for all occasions
Five Ways – whisky and liqueurs from the far north
Kelly Bronze – we’ll be sampling one of our Christmas turkeys
Beef dripping – come along and try the very best roast potatoes
