Local Food Hero 2009

Local Food Hero is back for the fourth year championing all that is great about regional food businesses. We have previously come second in Scotland and last year ‘highly commended’ and would love to have the opportunity to be involved again, so we need your vote!

Voting opened on the 22nd June and closes on the 7th August, after that the 10 businesses from each region that have the most votes are assessed by an expert selection panel. The panel then shortlist three businesses from each region who are visited by Market Kitchens very own Matt Tebbutt and Matthew Fort, they then choose a winner from each region who will appear on Market Kitchen. The overall national winner is announced on the show and will receive a trophy and £5000 to celebrate their achievement.
